PlayStation Plus March 2022 Free Games Revealed

PlayStation Plus March 2022

With the major video game console companies requiring paid subscriptions from users to help cover the costs of online play, these companies have sought to add value to these subscriptions by adding free games. Sony has been especially praised in the past for offering free games every month to their PlayStation Plus subscriber base. This has even continued into the launch of the PlayStation 5, with exclusive titles for the next-gen console having been featured in the past for subscribers. Now, Sony has unveiled their PlayStation Plus March 2022 lineup of free games, which includes several great games embodying a variety of genres.

Sony announced their PlayStation Plus March 2022 lineup of games on their official Twitter account this week. The big new game for PS4 included for the month is Ark: Survival Evolved, the MMO survival game that has players seek to evade or tame and breed dinosaurs. The other big PS4 game included for the month is Team Sonic Racing. Our team actually reviewed it back in 2019, and it serves as a fairly competent, though not terribly innovative take on the kart racing genre for Sonic the Hedgehog and friends.

As for PS5 users, the PlayStation Plus March 2022 lineup includes Ghostrunner, an action-packed Cyberpunk platformer. The game has players use fluid acrobatic parkour-like moves and a katana to battle enemies. Lastly, both PS4 and PS5 owners can gain access to the standalone multiplayer experience Ghost of Tsushima: Legends. This offers four different modes for players to enjoy the world of Tsushima with their friends. Once again, PlayStation has offered a great new lineup of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers to play.
