Paragon Players Fight To Keep Game Alive After Impending Shut Down Announced
It was recently revealed that Epic Games would be closing the doors on one of their titles to focus on another. The news caused outrage as many believed this to be the wrong move. Now, Paragon players have taken to Reddit to express their dissatisfaction with the development team.
“We feel there isn’t a clear path for us to grow Paragon into a MOBA that retains enough players to be sustainable,” Epic said in their announcement. However, players are not on the same page and strongly disagree with their reasoning. Some provided suggestions on how to make things work, implying that Epic Games only cares about how many players are in the game and not about the actual title itself. One such fighter even went on to offer the solution of selling the game to another developer, keeping the title alive and well for all to play. Here are some of the reactions from determined Paragon players below:
There is no denying that Paragon players want the development team to do something, anything to keep the game going, but until Epic Games releases any official word, the doors will be shut on April 26.
