Overwatch’s Summer Games Event is Officially Live – New Skins, Emotes, Games, and More! (VIDEO)
One of the most beloved Overwatch events from last year is finally back! Overwatch’s Summer Games event is live now and brings with it unique cosmetic items and of course, LucioBall! Fans of the first person shooter always look forward to these events for the cosmetic items that are only available for a short while and this year there are a handful of brand new items that will put the sizzle back in Summer!
There are new skins that aren’t so focused around the Olympic look and are more reminiscent of a family vacation to the beach. Who doesn’t want to see that sexy grandpa Solider 76 sporting that Hawaiian shirt and cargo shorts? We sure do! Overwatch’s Summer Games event also brings a brand new map for LucioBall and has some heavy discounts for some of last year’s skins which are listed below as well as the new items and their prices:
2016 Summer Games Items
- Common Tier: 25 credits
- Rare Tier: 75 credits
- Epic Skins: 250 credits
- Legendary Skins: 1,000 credits
2017 Summer Games Items
- Common Tier: 75 credits
- Rare Tier: 225 credits
- Epic Skins: 750 credits
- Legendary Skins: 3,000 credits
Overwatch’s Summer Games event will have special Loot Boxes that will include these items, plus you already get one free just from logging in, and the event itself will run from now until August 29th.
