Overwatch Mobile Clone Launches, Tops App Charts

Overwatch Mobile Clone Ace Force

Overwatch is Blizzard Entertainment’s first FPS, and it has been a resounding success since it launched a few years ago. It has even gone on to spawn its own esports league with the Overwatch League, which will be wrapping up its second season in the near future. That said, fans have been wondering if a mobile version would be arriving, and it looks like one has, but from a different company.

Ace Force was released by Tencent’s MoreFun for iOS and Android, and it is currently in open beta. The Overwatch clone looks awfully familiar as it almost seemingly pulls straight from Blizzard’s popular title, only giving it more of an anime look. Check it out for yourself in the video below:

Blizzard has taken action in the past against developers that have essentially ripped off Overwatch, but nothing has been stated about the arrival of Ace Force as of yet. Then again, with how large Tencent is, it is unknown if anything will come of this. Prior to its launch, the Overwatch clone pulled in over 13 million pre-registrations, so there is definitely a market for it.

In any case, Overwatch is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
