Leaks are all too common in the day and age of the internet, leading many to get early looks at goodies that otherwise would have gone unseen until the creators released them. That being said, Blizzard Entertainment has experienced a small leak, which has exposed reworks coming to the Overwatch Horizon Lunar Colony map.

The video shows some changes that have been highly requested by players. After all, those who know the Lunar Colony map well, know exactly the kind of time that can be had. Either you’ve got a good feel for your hero and know the map well, leading to domination, or you get grouped up with an uncooperative bunch, which only ends in disaster. One of the much-needed changes seen in the video appears to be spawn points being moved. This should hopefully alleviate the negative and improve the overall experience. There’s only one thing wrong with the video showing the changes to the Overwatch Horizon Lunar Colony map: Blizzard didn’t mean to show off anything just yet. Despite that, they took it all in stride over on the game’s forums. Thankfully, the overall response to the leak seems to be positive, which surely makes the leak an easier pill to swallow. Here’s what Blizzard had to say:

Well that wasn’t supposed to happen but there you go. We have some changes that we are still working on and testing for the map so what you are seeing here may not be final. Also as an FYI it won’t be released with the next patch and no eta for when it will be released as it is still a rework in progress.”

Overwatch is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The Retribution event is still going strong, so be sure to enjoy that before it ends on April 30th.
