New Video Shows Remastered Crash Bandicoot 3 Motorcycle Level Compared to the Old One (VIDEO)

Crash Bandicoot 3 Motorcycle

The festivities of E3 2017 are so very nearly upon us, and even after all of it ends, gamers still have the rest of June to look forward to as Crash Bandicoot makes his triumphant return to the Sony console world. The many different types of levels and gameplay styles from the original games that will be remade with the Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy on PlayStation 4 has made the remakes look incredibly promising. One key gameplay type introduced in Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped was the Crash Bandicoot 3 Motorcycle levels. A newly released Road Crash Transformation video shows one such level from the original version side-by-side with its incarnation in the new remake.

The video seen below was originally posted to the Crash Bandicoot YouTube account, but has since been removed. Luckily, Internet users are able to catch things before they disappear. On the left is the original motorcycle gameplay mode seen on the first PlayStation console where Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped first released. To the right is the same level as recreated in the N. Sane Trilogy. It is rather stunning to see how faithful the remake has been to the original version, while still impressing with its added graphical details, even down to the Neo Cortex billboards that Crash drives by on the roadside.
