Assassin’s Creed Collection Reportedly Coming To Nintendo Switch

Assassin’s Creed Collection

The Nintendo Switch is entering into its third year of existence, and it looks to be a promising one for the nifty little console. While the big first party exclusives seem to be slowing down a bit for the console this year, not to mention the recently confirmed big delay for Metroid Prime 4, the console is continually getting great support from third parties. Third party titles especially seem to be present this year in the form of ports of games from previous generations. Now, it seems like one such port for the Nintendo Switch might also be an Assassin’s Creed Collection.

Reddit user Nightmare666xD recently posted an image of their sleuthy findings. Nightmare666xD perused through several Czech electronics retailer websites, and noticed that there were listings for a Nintendo version of the Assassin’s Creed III collection on several different sites. This remastered collection was already confirmed to be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this year, but now it seems like it may come to the Switch as well.

This collection consists of remakes of Assassin’s Creed III, as well as the DLC and the PS Vita spinoff of the game, Assassin’s Creed III Liberation. This will be free for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey season pass owners, but the Czech websites list its self-contained physical version for Switch at approximately $35, with a release date of February 15th, 2019. There’s been no official confirmation of the game coming to the US, but between the original version of Assassin’s Creed III appearing on the Switch, and this report, this certainly seems like a legacy that will be ready to live on.
