Black Panther Teaser Trailer

The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) isn’t slowing down any time soon. The most recent entry Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is already a hit and there is much excitement for this fall’s Thor: Ragnarok. The film following Thor’s third solo outing will be Black Panther, who was introduced into the MCU in Captain America: Civil War. MCU fans, the moment you’ve been waiting for is here. Feast your eyes on the first teaser trailer for Marvel’s Black Panther:

The teaser trailer is just under two exhilarating minutes, and features a few hints to the main plot, as well as some incredibly mind-blowing action. The trailer begins with Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) interrogating Ulysses Klaue (Andy Serkis). This isn’t Klaue’s (or Klaw) first appearance in the MCU. He was breifly seen in Avengers: Age of Ultron, which just so happened to be the first Easter egg pertaining to Black Panther in the MCU. Klaw explains to Ross that the the long sought after city of El Dorado is actually located in Wakanda, which is where our main protagonist, T’Challa/Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) is from.

A quick scene is shown in the jungles of Africa, where armed men appear to be searching for someone. A dog barking in the direction of a tree turns their attention, and flashlights to the branches above where the costumed vigilante known as Black Panther is perched. The fight doesn’t show much other than one of the gunman unloading several rounds at Black Panther which deflect off of his suit and don’t seem to affect him in any way.
