The upcoming re-release of the hugely beloved Okami title draws near and to celebrate, Capcom has released a ton of new screenshots and a new video to get fans hyped. The game, which originally released on the PlayStation 2, was instantly hailed for the stunningly unique tale that it is. When the news broke that a remaster was on its way, fans couldn’t wait to see more. Thankfully, ’tis the season so let’s get to the celebration and check out the latest videos first:

Veteran fans of the franchise, and newbies coming to enjoy the adventure for the first time, can see what made this game iconic in the above videos. From seeing the celestial god Yumigami in action, to once more witnessing the majestic nature of Amaterasu – all three newly released trailers are a solid reminder of why this title instantly became a staple in gaming history.

These aren’t the first videos to show off the HD remaster of Okami, but it wasn’t the only teaser that Capcom released. They also unleashed quite a few new screenshots to show off even more of the enhancements made and why fans should be excited to dive one more into the narrative. Each of the screens, which can be seen below, reflect some of the tweaks made to the overall gameplay, including a 4K overhaul, a modern widescreen format, and more:

Rooted in Japanese folklore, Okami has you taking the on the role of Amaterasu, the sun goddess, as she embodies the legendary white wolf Shiranui. Your wolf part can tackle, and use a number of different weapons—you’re a legendary wolf after all—while your goddess side brings to the table divine powers of the Celestial Brush, a powerful way to breathe new life to the world around you.

In addition to the three platforms mentioned in the headline, you’ll also now be able to experience the art and joy of Okami HD with beautiful 4K graphics on Xbox One X, PS4 Pro, and supported PC hardware. Speaking of visual settings, you can now play the game in a modern widescreen format, or if you prefer, you can play in the original 4:3 screen ratio. Fans of the original release, rejoice: we also brought back the original loading screen mini-game where you can earn bonus demon fangs that can be traded for in-game items.”
