No Man’s Sky Expeditions Update Adds New Game Mode (VIDEO)
No Man’s Sky continues to be the gift that keeps on giving with expansions galore that add a ton of content to the game for absolutely no charge. The game has become synonymous with redemption since its rough launch, and the title’s latest update seems to only make things even better by bringing the community together for some challenges.
Expeditions is the name of the latest update for No Man’s Sky and it is also what players will be going on should they choose to embark on such a thing and complete milestones. The new game mode is fairly simple in concept: Expeditions are set up across the universe (at fixed points) and players choose to participate in these events, which feature milestones to complete and earn rewards. What might be the best part about all of this is that players can do this together. Check out all of the action for yourself in the video below:
In addition to the Expeditions, the No Man’s Sky devs have also included quite a few other goodies in the latest update. The missions from Mission Agents at the Space Station have been completely reworked, the way in which players find missions has be tweaked, and more. There have also been new weekend event missions added to The Nexus. Needless to say, there is quite a bit to do in the popular sci-fi survival exploration game.
No Man’s Sky is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and new-gen consoles. As for the Expeditions update, that is available now across all platforms and the full patch notes can be found on the game’s website.
