New Uncharted Movie Image Depicts A Mustache-less Sully

Fans were able to catch a glimpse of Tom Holland as Uncharted’s Nathan Drake back in January, drawing up plenty of hype for the upcoming film. Fans have even seen a tease from Mark Wahlberg with Victor “Sully” Sullivan‘s iconic mustache, though a newly released image for the film has now surfaced indicating that Wahlberg’s character won’t have the fuzzy lip caterpillar for at least a part of the film, suggesting a possible time jump.

A new still has arrived showing off both Holland’s Drake and Wahlberg’s Sully as they look off into the distance. Strangely, Sully does not have his iconic mustache, leading to speculation as to what this could mean for the upcoming film. Perhaps there will be some sort of time jump within the movie that will lead up to the characters taking on their more well-known looks from the game franchise. Check it out below:

The upcoming Uncharted film will serve as an origin story set before the events of the first game and will feature Antonio Banderas, Sophia Ali, and Tati Gabrielle alongside the two main characters played by Holland and Wahlberg. The film is currently set to premiere on February 18, 2022, though with the current pandemic still messing with schedules it’s possible that date could be moved back.
