Netflix‘s The Witcher First Poster Revealed, Closer Look At Yennefer And Other Characters

It has been quite a wait for The Witcher fans who have endured many months of small updates leading up to the release of the new Witcher Netflix series. Throughout this year so far, images officially disclosed and leaked by sneaky spies from the set have given decent looks at the beautiful filming locations and Henry Cavill in action as Geralt of Rivia. Now, the series showrunner has provided a Witcher first look at the series of sorts, including the first poster for the show and a better look at familiar characters like Yennefer and

Series showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich shared The Witcher First look images on her official Twitter account recently. The first image shared by Hissrich was of the poster for the new series, which shows Henry Cavill as Geralt looking at the open see from a cliff top. We also get out first official look at the title/logo for the series, along with the slogan “The Worst Monsters Are The Ones We Create.”

Along with the poster, Hissrich also shared images of the series leads, including the first official images of Anya Chalotra as Yennefer and Freya Allen as Ciri. Hissrich does not provide an update regarding the series’s release date, but several different leaks and comments from crew members have pointed towards a December release this year. Hopefully, these images excite fans of the franchise, while allowing for the series to tell its new iteration of Geralt’s story in a unique way.
