Netflix March 2020: What’s New And What’s Leaving (VIDEO)
The advent of this new month means there’s yet another queue of streaming content to binge! The latest arrivals for Netflix March 2020 have recently been announced, giving fans some thrilling and greatly-awaited movies and TV shows to fill out their free time with. A few of the highlights for Netflix March include Season 3 of anime Castlevania, looney basketball adventure Space Jam, and the duo Milla Jovovich Resident Evil films: Afterlife and Extinction.
Alongside the usual mountain of movie drops, viewers will have the likes of Robin Williams’ Hook, Mark Wahlberg-led action film Spenser Confidential, and The Shawshank Redemption to peek at a moment’s notice. In terms of Originals, crime drama Lost Girls and real-world chronicle Self Made look to offer some variety alongside favorites such as On My Block and Ozark. Netflix March also premieres a fresh batch of anime in the form of film Lu Over the Wall as well as debuting series’ such as the animalistic Beastars, spin-off story Altered Carbon: Resleeved, and ambitious hand-drawn project Sol Levante.
The medium of animation surely has a strong presence for Netflix March 2020, but not every selection will be as prominent by the month’s end. Leaving the platform will be several prominent movie franchises, namely The Lord of the Rings, Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill, and Christopher Nolan’s first two Batman films. Disney continues its drawn-out exodus with the removal of Marvel’s Black Panther and book adaptation A Wrinkle in time, with both planned to head over to Disney Plus later his month. Notably, a Netflix Original series is also on the way out soon, with all episodes of police drama Happy Valley disappearing after nearly six years on the service.
Since the last big Netflix offerings went live, a whole wealth of news has been revealed regarding the streaming platform, with new details about the upcoming adaptations of Resident Evil, One Piece, and yes, even Genital Jousting. However, the last month has mainly kept Witcher news flowing, with the hit live-action series finally rounding out its cast as filming begins on the anticipated second season.
