Mortal Kombat 11: New Terminator Fatality, Skins Revealed (VIDEO)

The Terminator is set to “be back” once more in the upcoming film Terminator: Dark Fate, but the future-dwelling murder-bot is first stopping by Mortal Kombat 11 as the fighting game’s next available character DLC. We recently got our first look at the Arnold Schwarzenegger-portrayed (but not voiced) fighter debut during a stunning gameplay trailer, showing off the hard-hitting and bullet-blasting moveset only the storied Austrian cyborg could ever deliver.

Developer NetherRealm has now unveiled a follow-up showcase for The Terminator, unveiling an especially gruesome second Fatality. Taking place during yet another revealing Kombat Kast livestream, the T-800 took out his fatal frustrations on MK character Kano, throwing down the lumbering, power-centric attacks that one might expect. The Fatality in question (seen below at 38:08) sees The Terminator charge his opponent on his motorcycle, launching them into the air, and blasting the foe apart with his trusty boomstick.

Of course, the day wasn’t satisfied with just one Terminator reveal, as even more about the character’s debut was unveiled in an expansive separate video. Uploaded by YouTuber Brian Tong, the full array of Terminator’s presence in Mortal Kombat 11 is available to check out in its entirety, including several skins that change the character’s in-game appearance.

Among these are several options such as the older, bearded Terminator from this year’s ‘Dark Fate,’ a younger version that looks straight out of 1991’s T2, as well as a battle-damaged variety complete with a fully-exposed cyber arm. A number of other skins were also shown to be coming alongside Arnie’s robotic role, with confirmations like “Cassie Quinn” arriving alongside a Sarah Connor skin for Sonya Blade, a tux-clad Johnny Cage, as well as a fully-mechanized version of Kano. Check it all out below.

The Terminator T-800 is set to join the MK11 roster on October 15th, with Kombat Pass purchasers able to get Early Access a week earlier on October 8th. The exciting character debut only represents one of the several offerings being made available this month, with the new 3v1 Team Raid mode also set to give players a unique multiplayer experience later on in October. After that, the sonically-inclined queen Sindel is up next to be added to the game.

Mortal Kombat 11 is out now for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
