Mortal Kombat 11 Leak Reveals First Look at Noob Saibot, Erron Black, and More

Mortal Kombat 11 is punching its way over to our preferred platform in just a few weeks time and NetherRealm Studios has since paved the way with showcases of gory gameplay and oodles of surprise character additions. However, the journey to release so far hasn’t been the smoothest, seeing leaks seemingly spoil the arrival of several notable kombatants from tournaments past.

If that weren’t enough, it appears a new set of leaks have made their way to the web, unveiling even more of the game’ expansive roster to come. Breaking via the Test Your Might forums, fighters such as the shadowy spectre Noob Saibot and Old West gunslinger Erron Black have been unofficially confirmed, the characters revealed in a set of impromptu in-game screenshots.

The images show off quite a few of the game’s base fighters, including series staples such as Liu Kang and Kano, as well as MKX antagonist Kotal Kahn. However, the biggest reveal lies with Mortal Kombat 11’s leaked character select screen, which looks to lay out all the game’s available fighters. Included in the mix are the aforementioned Noob Saibot and Erron Black, with additional alleged returns set for Cassie Cage, Jacqui Briggs, Frost, and Kung Lao.

By the looks of things, fans are also in for a few more new characters. Two unknown fighters by the name of “Cetrion” and “The Kollector” were listed among the leak, the duo of blue figures currently having no apparent connection to the franchise. It’s possible these newcomers would have debuted in one of NetherRealm’s Kombat Kast events, but this type of reveal may not be so surprising anymore.

Right now, it’s up in the air whether any of these leaks are real, but it wouldn’t be surprising if they were. The above screenshots look largely similar to official gameplay we’ve seen so far, and this leaked roster isn’t too outside fan expectation. While a majority of the roster has been seemingly revealed, there’s still a select few that remain a mystery. It’s likely these spaces are being saved for future surprise DLC, opening up the possibility of third-party characters.

Mortal Kombat 11 releases for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox one on April 23rd. A beta session is scheduled to begin later this month.
