Mortal Kombat 11 Shows Off Kotal Kahn, Jacqui Briggs Gameplay (VIDEO)
The release of Mortal Kombat 11 is so close, one can almost smell faint hints of blood and electricity in the air. With just over a month left, NetherRealm Studios has decidedly stepped up the potency of their reveals, teasing new fighter debuts, fresh looks at older characters, and more lovably despicable trolling on the part of Creative Director Ed Boon.
During the developer’s latest Kombat Kast livestream, the first gameplay was revealed for lord of Outworld Kotal Kahn as well as the punch-packing Jacqui Briggs. As with Cassie Cage and Kano before them, NetherRealm has debuted footage for two characters at once, this time notably showcasing Jacqui’s Fatality which uses an assortment of explosives to slice Kotal in two. While there’s been so much seemingly revealed already, the next Mortal Kombat 11 showcase is set to take place later this week at C2E2, where NetherRealm is scheduled to hold a panel. Starting Friday, March 22nd, Multiple debuts are set to go down regarding the violent fighting game, Ed Boon confirming new behind-the-scenes details, a DLC reveal, as well as the debut of an all-new character trailer.

Mortal Kombat 11 releases for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on April 23rd. A closed Beta is set to go live on March 27th.
