Mortal Kombat 11 Reveals First Kano Gameplay (VIDEO)

Mortal Kombat 11 Reveals Kano As Latest Roster Addition

NetherRealm Studios seems to be in a particularly giving mood as of late having given Mortal Kombat 11 fans ample sources of hype just over the last day alone. An intriguing new story trailer has revealed a nice amount of the game’s story as well as a bevy of previously unconfirmed fighters. The developer’s subsequent Kombat Kast livestream has only yielded more violent fun with official reveals for both Cassie Cage as well as Kano.

While this was largely dedicated to Cassie’s first showing, Kano wasn’t at all left out as NetherRealm also showed off plenty of gameplay featuring the bionic-eyed fighter. Revealed during the livestream was array of Kano’s moves, including a look at the character’s sharp-edged Fatal Blow attack. Check out the action in the videos below.

This past Kombat Kast arrives after a bit of speculation regarding which character would be revealed next. NetherRealm’s Creative Director Ed Boon surely stirred the conversation with his recent Twitter posts, suggesting Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance character Hsu Hao could potentially be next to debut. Of course, this ended up being yet another troll on his part, Boon taking great pleasure in his act of villainy.

Mortal Kombat 11 is set to release for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. A pre-order beta is scheduled to go live later this month.

What do you think? Are you glad to see Kano back in action, or would you rather he had his own separate reveal?
