Monster Hunter World Teases Final Fantasy XIV Collaboration At E3 2018 (VIDEO)
There’s been no shortage of crossovers between franchises from Mega Man, Devil May Cry, Street Fighter V, and even Horizon Zero Dawn in Monster Hunter World. The latest in line is Final Fantasy XIV, another Square Enix franchise to make an impact on this Capcom title. During the short-lived Square Enix showcase at E3 2018, the developer revealed their collaboration with a short and sweet teaser:
You’ll find typical Final Fantasy XIV class and job outfits including lancer, paladin, black mage, and others joining the fight in defeating a gargantuan foe! You’ll need all the help you can get to bring down this dragon. As seen in the trailer, there will likely be a select few or an assortment of outfits players can collect in Monster Hunter World just as there were in previous crossover efforts.
Final Fantasy XIV will arrive in Monster Hunter World this Summer 2018. An exact date has not been revealed yet. Since Summer is in full swing, it’ll be here in no time!
