Mobile Game Fire Emblem Heroes Gets New Characters, New Rewards, and More

Fire Emblem Heroes came to mobile users just this month and has already seen a few new additions and extra features. This week, Nintendo released a video announcing the new characters added to the roster as well as an outline for what players can expect in future updates.

This mobile Fire Emblem game is expected to have a constant influx of new characters being added steadily through the title’s shelf life. Nintendo has mentioned several times that they are fully committed to FE: Heroes and making sure that new content is a constant priority to keep players engaged and wanting more. You can see the video below for what new characters have been added, including a Ephraim and Eirika from Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. Check out the video to see everyone added:

The new batch of characters comes with a new focus called “Family Bonds” and with it comes a new story paralogue, new missions, new orbs, etc. Here are the new heroes listed in the latest update:

  • Ephraim – The Sacred Stones
  • Eirika – The Sacred Stones
  • Seliph – Genealogy of the Holy War
  • Julia – Genealogy of the Holy War

As far as future plans for Fire Emblem Heroes, there is an event running now until March 14th that gives players free orbs simply by signing in. This event is a part of their overall “launch celebration” which is now expected to be extended “indefinitely”. This makes training tower missions more affordable in terms of stamina usage and also allows for more rewards to Heroes players.

Starting in early March, specific date is TBD, heroes will then be allowed to gain experience even when killing lower level enemies – the more a player levels up, the more in-game perks.

Fire Emblem Heroes isn’t the only mobile game to come from Nintendo – both Super Mario Run and Nintendo-inspired Pokemon Go are both out, as well. Pokemon GO just hit a huge update which includes new Pokemon and PvP plus trading is expected to be added soon.
