DayZ Creator 2017 Plans and New Game Announcement – Plus Inside Look at His Studio (VIDEO)

DayZ is a zombie game that was a huge success among PC players and it looks like Dean Hall, creator of this title, is gearing up for a new game announcement for March if reports from Eurogamer are accurate.

According to sources, Hall is expected to announce his 2017 plans, including a new game in the words, at this year’s EGX Rezzed show in London. He’s slated to host a panel at the show while discussing his new projects as well as highlighting what is going on with his studio RocketWerkz.

If you haven’t heard of RocketWerkz, you might want to. Hall takes care of his people according to an interview he did with RadioNZ. The studio itself houses approximately 40 employees and gives them unlimited leave. Not only that, but there’s not big corp BS with the way he interacts with his team. As the founder, he only has a 10% salary increase over the highest paid employee there and supposedly has no middle management. Sounds like an amazing place to work! You can hear more about RocketWerkz in the video below:

As far as EGX Rezzed – the event itself begins March 30th until April 1st. It is possible that the game expected to be announced is a multiplayer title that Hall teased fans with just last year. Time will tell, but can’t wait to see more from RockerWerkz – it sounds like they have a busy year ahead of them!
