Metal Gear Solid V Mod Let’s Fans Play As Keanu Reeves
The man, the myth, the legend, Keanu Reeves is having an incredible year with the continuation of his role as John Wick in the second sequel of the titular franchise. The actor portrayed a daredevil character in the latest Toy Story film and was revealed at this year’s E3 to be a part of CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 much to the shock and awe of fans. Players can’t quite live out their dreams in a John Wick game just yet and Johnny Silverhand of Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t a playable character. That hasn’t stopped one fan who took it upon themselves to bring the characters to life in Metal Gear Solid V.
Modder JinMar has crafted a mod that does the simple swapping of avatars within Metal Gear Solid V that allows players to take on the personage of either John Wick, Johnny Silverhand with sunglasses, or Johnny Silverhand without sunglasses all by changing between one of three hair presets. Players can even replace the bionic arm present within the game with a real looking arm so the Wick variant doesn’t look too far off from his film counterpart. The mod is still a work-in-progress but still, players are getting to become the immortal Keanu Reeves so either way that’s a win! Download it here!
