The Mass Effect community is filled with talented artists who have shared cosplay, illustrations, photographs, and countless other creations with us. With Mass Effect: Andromeda introducing you to a new galaxy and cast of characters, we want to give you the resources you need to keep creating.”
With the release of several trailers showcasing the latest space RPG dropping this March, and a new initiative brief that highlighted the two characters added to their kits, fans of BioWare were quick to reach for their drawing tablets and sewing tables to add their own take on these newly revealed characters. The Andromeda character kits “feature high-resolution images so you can capture of the details of your newest friends and allies.” They have done a similar nod to the craftsmen and women in the community with their Dragon Age games and we can expect that more characters will be added to their kit list as the game releases.
First kit we have is that of Lieutenant Cora Harper. A human Biotic Commando, she is a squad mate and love interest to at least one of the Ryder siblings. According to BioWare, she “knows the rules well enough to bend them if necessary” and her strength as a leader shines through in the brief glimpses we’ve had of her.
The second character to be added is Earth-born Liam Kosta. The perfect guy to rely on in a crisis, he joined the team after meeting former Alliance personnel at a “post-hostility relief action.” Described by Cora as the perfect Idealist. From his dual omni-blade usage and practical, yet positive, attitude, Kosta shows a lot of promise for cosplayers around the world.
You can find the full downloadable character kits right here from their blog in PDF form. Whether for cosplay or for more traditional forms of art, the team behind Andromeda wants the community to stay connected and show off the characters they may come to know and love. If you haven’t seen the recent trailers, you can see the list at the bottom of this article.
