Marvel’s Iron Man VR Revealed For PSVR (VIDEO)
The very first episode of Sony’s State of Play stream series for PlayStation kicked things off with a bang with the reveal of a new virtual reality title called Iron Man VR. As can only be expected by the title, the new game gives players control of Tony Stark’s powerful suit in the first-person perspective, with the official reveal trailer showing off what players will be able to do while wielding their PS Move controllers. As shown in the trailer, players are able to aim and fire at incoming enemies using the PS Move controllers, all the while flying through the skies because you get to play as freaking Iron Man. the controllers also allow players to block incoming attacks and, yes, you can punch things. Here’s the official description of Iron Man VR courtesy of Sony:
“Don the PlayStation VR headset to suit up as the Armored Avenger in an original Iron Man adventure! Using two PlayStation®Move motion controllers** fire up Iron Man’s Repulsor Jets and blast into the skies with an arsenal of iconic Iron Man weapons at your fingertips. Face off against Iron Man’s greatest foes in high stakes, action-packed battles. Upgrade tech in Tony Stark’s garage to customize Iron Man’s sleek suit and awesome abilities.”
The exact pricing and release date for the game are currently unknown, though Marvel’s Iron Man VR is slated to launch at some point in 2019 for PSVR.
