Lego The Incredibles Video Game Confirmed, Arriving This Year

It wasn’t long ago that a rumor teased of a Lego The Incredibles video game, but there hadn’t been any official announcements from Pixar, Disney, or Lego. For whatever reason, each stakeholder kept relatively mum until now. Considering their promotional pattern with previous franchise films like Lego Batman, Marvel Superheroes, and Ninjago, it would seem rather odd to leave out the highly anticipated sequel of The Incredibles.

According to The Brick Fan, Lego Junior toy sets for The Incredibles 2 began showing up at Wal-Mart that teased an upcoming game and it will be launching for all major platforms. Yes, that includes the Nintendo Switch. Though a solid release date has not been revealed, one thing is for sure – it arrives this year. Check out the image below:

The Incredibles 2 movie is set to premiere June 15th, 2018, wherein Mr. Incredible takes on his newfound role of stay-at-home dad. We all know how troublesome Jack-Jack was for the babysitter in the first movie, but the adorable little gremlin isn’t easy to care for even for a superhero father. As his wife is tasked with bringing villains to justice as Elastigirl, Bob tries to balance his desire to take down the bad guys and taking care of the kids.

Lego The Incredibles video game is set to release this year for PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One. More details on a release date and more will be revealed in due time, but it is likely to release around the same time as the film this Summer.
