Full Injustice 2 Achievement List Revealed – Confirms a Surprise Character Addition

Injustice 2 Achievement

NetherRealm Studios’ latest fighting game Injustice 2 will be hitting stores in just a few weeks from now. This fact is further realized by the discovery of the game’s Xbox One achievements, which have recently appeared online. Most of the 62 entries are pretty vague, only giving away the DC fighter’s match-ups, and various challenge goals. However, a few rewards in the Injustice 2 achievement list mention the inclusion of a surprising character, one that is no stranger to the Injustice universe. Read on past the next image if you don’t care about spoilers.

SPOILER WARNING

Hidden among the Injustice 2 achievement list are confirmations that the clown prince of crime himself, The Joker, will be included within the game. The first achievement that mentions Joker by name, called “I Love You, I Hate You”, tasks the player to defeat the villain using his on-again / off-again girlfriend Harley Quinn during a certain section of the story. Another challenge titled “Why Aren’t You Laughing?” is awarded when the Joker is used to win a fight against Batman during another part of the game. These two scenarios where the player must defend and play as the character are more than enough to expect The Joker’s addition to the game’s roster.

The Joker’s inclusion in Injustice 2 is certainly surprising for those that played the original Injustice game. In one of the story mode’s most shocking scenes, The Joker is violently murdered by Superman following the destruction of all of Metropolis at the hands of the criminal clown. This pivotal moment of revenge is where Supes’ villainous regime began. It’s currently unknown how the green-haired trickster could come back from something as final as death, but stranger things have happened in comic properties before.
