Halo Infinite Multiplayer Launch Delay Rumors Debunked By Developer
Halo Infinite is expected to arrive later this year, but a recent rumor claimed that the game would be launching without multiplayer. It would be a major blow to the title to see such a major feature of the franchise not be there at the start but thankfully it seems fans have nothing to worry about. The multiplayer delay rumors were recently addressed by the developer, confirming that the multiplayer won’t be seeing any delay.
The original post was quickly taken down after 343 Community Director Brian Jarrard sent out a tweet claiming that the rumor was false. It’s certainly a relief to know that the multiplayer will be launching alongside the title, but some fans weren’t satisfied. Many tweets following Jarrard’s clarification of the multiplayer situation appeared to be less focused on the idea that the multiplayer isn’t getting delayed and instead began calling for a delay of the game altogether. Fans claim that it looks bad from the demo and are concerned that it won’t be fully finished when Halo Infinite comes out as a launch title for the Xbox Series X.
Nothing to see here folks, this is not true.

Thanks, but Please consider delaying Infinite, we can wait for it to be 100% finished and ready with full raytracing for a proper launch, thanks.

Even with the new gameplay out in the wild, there hasn’t been much for fans to really sink their teeth into with Halo Infinite so it’s understandable they’d be worried considering the title is set to launch sometime this holiday season. Still, its entirely possible that the game is further along than the demo shows, and its highly unlikely that the team will delay the game altogether seeing as it is a launch title.
