Halo Infinite Gameplay Revealed During Xbox Games Showcase (VIDEO)

Halo Infinite

Despite it only having been a couple years, it feels like an eternity since 343 Industries announced the next chapter in the Halo series. That said, the Xbox Games Showcase has officially arrived and they kicked the show off with eight minutes of Halo Infinite gameplay.

In the video, which can be seen below, we see Master Chief in all of his alien butt-kicking glory. The gameplay itself isn’t the most thrilling we’ve seen from the franchise, but the video does offer a good look at just how beautiful the game is. In addition to this, the sound design seems to be on point, which is always a plus. Check it out for yourself below:

“When all hope is lost and humanity’s fate hangs in the balance, the Master Chief is ready to confront the most ruthless foe he’s ever faced,” reads the description of the Halo Infinite gameplay video. “The legendary Halo series returns with the most expansive Master Chief story yet.”

The description also reveals that Halo Infinite will run up to 4K at 60 frames per second on Xbox Series X. Of course, with the title being from a first-party developer, it will be available to play on Xbox Game Pass on day one, which we still don’t know when that is yet. Either way, it’s looking like Master Chief is back and fans surely can’t wait to see what the multiplayer experience looks like.

Halo Infinite is currently in development and expected to launch on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X this holiday season. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
