New Halo Infinite Gameplay Details Revealed
While it has been confirmed that a new Halo title is on the way, there hasn’t been all that many details that have arrived since the title’s announcement earlier this year. Of course, this can’t stop the wide fanbase to begin searching for answers as to what they can look forward to when Halo Infinite finally arrives.
In a recent interaction with a fan on Twitter, Franchise Director Frank O’Connor mentioned that the game would have a wide variety of incredibly natural looking landscapes perfect for players to explore … and a lot of it.
O’Connor also explains that the game may feature some form of dynamic weather system. It might be a bit of a stretch but it’s possible this could mean the upcoming title might feature an open world sandbox for players to explore.
The snow in our Xmas card of the e3 scene is temporary. The water will be varied. Natural landscapes will feature prominently. We know which Ring it is. Exploration will be rewarded. Corndogs plz. Mustard.

It’s mentioned in O’Conner’s tweet that the developers do know what Halo the game will be set on, however he doesn’t state what ring that would be. Could this be the rumored Zeta-Halo that’s been previously rumored or somewhere else entirely?
Location aside, 343 Industries appears to be trying to not make the same mistakes they made with Halo Guardians. Steps to make things right including decisions like bringing back 4 player co-op as well as customization options similar to that of Halo Reach.
There has yet to be a release date set for Halo Infinite, though we do know it’s being made with PC in mind and next generation consoles.
Are you ready to see Master Chief reprise his role once more as the hero of the game? Are there any other areas of Halo lore you’d like to see a game delve into, or perhaps some other medium?
