Halo 3 Arrives On PC Via The Master Chief Collection This Month

Halo: The Master Chief Collection

Halo: The Master Chief Collection has done a great job of letting fans relive the amazing sci-fi adventures of John-117 himself both on classic and modern versions of each title within the series. With the release onto PC, the developers took things a step further by adding in a fan favorite, Halo: Reach to the lineup. Now, it appears that Halo 3 is set to join the mix, and it’ll be arriving very, very soon.

A recent Tweet reveals that Halo 3 is set to arrive via The Master Chief Collection on July 14th of this year, just under a week away. Players will have access to up to 4k UHD resolution and support for up to 60 FPS as they fight through all 11 missions that the campaign has to offer, as well as the 24 multiplayer maps brought over from the original game. Additionally, both Forge and Theater modes will be available to give fans even more access to content made by creative and talented users across the world. The title will also see a variety of modern updates such as FOV customization, customizable mouse and keyboard support, and more PC features for fans to tailor to their liking.

With Halo 3 under its belt, Halo: The Master Chief Collection’s next target is Halo 4, which is expected to arrive sometime later this year.
