The internet is overwhelmed with hype for the recently released Avengers: Infinity War film from Marvel. Fans flocked to theaters, pushing the film to record-breaking sales, and then took to the net to share out of context memes. To add to all of the excitement, a fan recently discovered a God of War Avengers reference that may well put the Infinity Gauntlet in players hands.

A player by the name moxxxxxi took to the game’s subreddit in order to share the God of War Avengers reference and how to find it. A talisman dubbed “the Shattered Gauntlet of Ages” allows for an upgrade that gives the item 3 enchantment slots. There are six in-game enchantments that match up with the Infinity Stones, and three can be applied to the gauntlet in any variation.

As seen in the video above, the God of War Avengers reference gives players a taste of the power of the Infinity Stones. Players may have already come across some of those enchantments in the game and realized their significance, but these can be harnessed to do some pretty cool things. Below is a list of the 6 enchantments and how they correlate with the Infinity Stones:

• Andvari’s Soul – Soul Stone
• Njord’s Temporal Stone – Time Stone
• Eye of the Outer Realm – Space Stone
• Ivaldi’s Corrupted Mind – Mind Stone
• Asgard’s Shard of Existence – Reality Stone
• Muspelheim Eye of Power – Power Stone

It was reported by other players in the God of War Avengers reference post that different enchantments fire different colors as well. Described as an “ancient relic of Hel deemed too powerful to remain whole”, players may have been searching for its pieces instead of maxing it to take advantage of these epic abilities supplied by the specific enchantments.
