Ghost Of Tsushima Developer Hiring Writer For Open World Project

Ghost Of Tsushima Developer Hiring Writer For Open World Project

Ghost of Tsushima proved to be quite the boon for the PS4, providing the console with yet another expertly-crafted exclusive title prior to the release of the PS5. Given its positive reception fans have understandably been clamoring for a proper sequel to the game, though the developer has yet to make any official announcement. Such a reveal may be coming soon, though, as it’s been revealed that Sucker Punch is now hiring for an open world project that is presumed to be a sequel for Ghost of Tsushima.

As reported by Gamasutra, Sucker Punch is looking for a Senior Games Writer to work on a new open world project. It would be extremely surprising if this project doesn’t end up being a Ghost of Tsushima sequel, especially given the following description. “Sucker Punch is looking for a Senior Writer to join our writing team and help us craft engaging narrative content for our next project,” the job listing reads. “Our ideal candidate has success telling impactful, character-driven stories in an open-world game.”

They will have the skills to craft emotional stories, memorable characters, and strong dialogue while collaborating with the writing team and other designers to advance our storytelling at Sucker Punch.”

As for what’s been thus far confirmed regarding Ghost of Tsushima, a live-action movie adaptation was announced earlier this year from the director of the John Wick movies. Between that and a potential sequel in the works, things are looking up for fans of Jin.

Ghost of Tsushima is now available for PS4.
