New Genshin Impact Trailer Released Featuring The Sleepy Ninja Sayu (VIDEO)

Genshin Impact is adding two new characters this week. The first is Yoimiya, the max rarity Pyro bow user that is fondly referred to in-game as the Queen of Summer on Narukami Island. The second character, Sayu, doesn’t like the spotlight all that much, and would prefer to spend her days dozing away and playing hide and seek so that she may, well, doze some more. When she’s doing her duty, though, the Anemo-chosen Sayu is a fierce Claymore user, as evidenced by her newly released character demo trailer.

Genshin Impact developer miHoYo took to social media recently to debut the official character demo trailer for Sayu. Releasing on August 10 alongside Yoimiya, the sleepy Mujina ninja is one of the more highly anticipated 4* rarity characters in recent memory due to her party-wide passive, which prevents Crystalflies from fleeing upon approach. Given how much of a pain it can be to farm crystalfiles, the passive is quite invaluable.

As mentioned, both Yoimiya and Sayu will be releasing on August 10. The wish banner containing both of them releases at 19:00 server time and runs up until August 31 at 15:59. Sayu is joined by other 4* rarity characters Xinyan and Diona, so those pulling for her will need to get pretty lucky.

Genshin Impact is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, and Android & iOS devices.
