Genshin Impact Yoimiya Character Teaser Trailer Revealed (VIDEO)

With Genshin Impact’s Ayaka having been available for a few weeks now, fans are already looking forward to the next thing on the horizon. Said ‘next thing’ just so happens to be Yoimiya, the Pyro bow user who made her story debut during some of the initial main storyline quests on Inazuma. Genshin Impact developer miHoYo has released the official character teaser trailer for Yoimiya, which – while absent of gameplay – shows what the firework maker is all about.

Titled Yoimiya: The Queen of Summer on Narukami Island, the new Genshin Impact trailer chiefly centers on Yoimiya’s role within the community in Inazuma, that of a firework maker. The Traveler is sent to her to find out what the best thing about summer on Narakumi Island is, which she responds to by suggesting that the player asks around in hopes of a good answer. Whether Yoimiya knows it or not, most of the folks in the community are in agreement that said “best thing” is actually her. It’s all pretty wholesome content. Check out the trailer below:

As for when Yoimiya is coming to Genshin Impact as a playable character, typically character teaser trailers are released roughly a week prior to said character’s official release. The currently ongoing Ayaka banner concludes on August 10, so Yoimiya should be touching down shortly after that. The sleepy ninja Sayu should also be dropping on the same banner, so those that have trouble crystal fly core farming (like myself) may want to consider pulling on the banner for at least one of the two new characters.

Genshin Impact is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, and Android & iOS devices.
