Genshin Impact Hu Tao Rerun Banner Details Revealed
Though Halloween has come and gone, the season of the spoop lives on in our hearts. So, what better way to celebrate it in Genshin Impact than with a rerun banner for Hu Tao, 77th Director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor!?
Genshin Impact developer miHoYo recently released the details of the upcoming Hu Tao Event Wish rerun banner. Kicking off on November 2nd at 18:00 server time and running to November 23rd at 14:59, the banner features Hu Tao in the max rarity slot alongside Diona, Sayu, and the new 4-star character Thoma. As always, a Test Run trial event will be available for those looking to try out the various characters available in the Event Wish.

As for the Event Wish weapon banner, Hu Tao fans will be happy to hear that her signature Staff of Homa weapon will be available to snag during the same date range as the character banner. Accompanying the polearm is the 5-star bow Elegy for the End. Also featured on the banner are the event-exclusive 4-star weapons Wavebreaker’s Fin (Polearm) and Mouun’s Moon (Bow). Standard 4-star weapons Sacrificial sword (Sword), Rainslasher (Claymore), and The Widsith (Catalyst) round out the pool.
Genshin Impact is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, and Android & iOS devices.
Since the author already has the Staff of Homa and Hu Tao at C1, I will be skipping the banner – despite the new arrival of Thoma – to save wishes for Shenhe, who may or may not have some relation to Cloud Retainer.
