Genshin Impact: Albedo Character Trailer Revealed (VIDEO)
The global gacha phenomenon that is Genshin Impact just keeps plugging away, with the latest update promising a brand new region to explore, the first since the title released earlier this year. As one would expect, this update will be bringing with it some new playable characters, though they won’t all hail from the new area, Dragonspine. Genshin Impact developer MiHoYo has revealed the new character Albedo, Chief Alchemist of the Knights of Favonius.
MiHoYo took to its official Genshin Impact website to unveil the new character trailer for Albedo. The character has a flair for the arts, taking his talents to the canvas to dazzle Sucrose during the events of the trailer, though he is rebuked by her after he gets carried away. Check it out below:
A sword user, Albedo utilizes Geo skills in almost a spellblade capacity, with his moveset benefiting from hitting enemies within the GEO area caused by his ability Solar Isotoma. Another benefit of the Solar Isotoma is that players can stand on the center of the ability and get a boost up into the air via the locus platform, which should make exploration just a bit easier.
Albedo’s Ultimate move is Rite of Progeniture: Tectonic Tide. “Crystallized Geo energy bursts forth at Albedo’s command, dealing AoE Geo DMG in front of Albedo,” the move’s description reads. “If a Solar Isotoma created by Albedo himself is on the field, 7 Fatal Blossoms will be generated in the Solar Isotoma field, bursting violently into bloom and dealing AoE Geo DMG.”
Genshin Impact is currently available on PC, PS4, and Android & iOS devices. Update 1.2 is slated to release on December 23rd.
