A recent post on Xbox Wire shows off a variety of new Forza-themed goodies for fans to enjoy. One of the most notable features of this partnership is a Mclaren Senna, the car featured on the cover of Forza Horizon 4 and named after three-time world champion Ayrton Senna, “one of Mclaren’s greatest racing drivers.” The vehicle becomes a car icon which alters the standard one featured in the app when its in use. In order to activate the Mclaren Senna, fans will need to do the following:
- Open the Waze app on the phone you’d like to change the car icon for
- Once the map view has opened, tap the magnifying glass in the bottom left-hand corner
- Tap the Settings icon in the upper left-hand corner, then tap on “Display & map”
- Lastly, tap on “Car on map” and choose the McLaren Senna
Also coming to the app is the glorious voice of Maurice LaMarche who is known for his work on shows like Futurama, Pinky and the Brain, and Zootopia. The actor was also featured in a commercial for Forza Horizon 4, which can be seen below.
In order to activate LaMarche’s voice navigation fans will need to search under Sound & Voice settings, then Voice Directions where they’ll find the actor’s name.
A new Spotify playlist for the game is now available which can be accessed through the Waze app as well. Within the settings, there will be an option to link user’s Spotify accounts. Once activated, fans should be able to search for the Forza Horizon 4 playlist featuring musical talents such as CHVRCHES, M83, Foo Fighters, Odesza, and much more.
For those that may be unfamiliar, Waze is a GPS navigation software that, like many others, collects map data such as travel times and traffic information however users of Waze can report accidents, traffic jams, speed cameras, police presence, and much more in order to better direct other users on their routes.
