Fortnite Announces New Steady Storm Limited Time Mode

Fortnite Announces New Steady Storm Limited Time Mode

Quite a lot has happened today in the world of Fortnite. Earlier, Epic Games released the patch notes for Fortnite’s massive update V5.20, which adds a new shotgun, nerfs vending machines, and tons more. Additionally, Fortnite Mobile on Android may be getting an exclusive skin, if a recent leak is to be believed. With all that going on, it would be easy to miss that Epic Games also announced a brand new Limited Time Mode for the popular game, called Steady Storm.

Revealed in the update V5.20 patch notes, the Steady Storm LTM features that typical battle royale action that we all know and love, but with a bit of a twist: there are no safe zones, and the titular disastrous weather closes in over the course of 15 minutes, dealing 10 damage per second for anyone caught inside. According to Epic Games, “This Storm waits for no player and there are no safe zones. Stay aware of the map and keep moving it to the center of the circle in the Steady Storm LTM!” Here’s how Steady Storm works:
