Fortnite 4th Of July Cosmetic Items Now Available
From the rocket’s red glare and the bombs bursting in air, it’s that time of year again for the United States annual celebration. Proud citizens will raise the American flag up high as the fireworks light up, and video game developers are in on the festivities as well! Fortnite is celebrating the country’s day of independence with all sorts of festive items for all platform. From a red and white striped team leader outfit, battle pass tiers, to star-spangled everything in-between. There are other extra goodies to celebrate this major holiday as well. Check out a few of them below:
There’s an adorable emote that whips out a cute little sparkler, Noir outfit, Gum Drop glider, and a Death Valley pickaxe, and Star Spangled outfits for Troopers and Rangers. These bad boys are separate items from the Battle Pass and instead of earning them through weekly challenges, these can be purchased with in-game currency. All of these items are available now in store!
As if that wasn’t enough, Epic Games relaunched their Playground limited time mode for all. Initially shut down due to technical errors from a complete server overload, the team finally brought it back online with full force. This time, more players can enjoy the freedom and creativity the mode brings. “So many of you rushed in to create and play that our matchmaking service fell over,” stated Epic Games. “We’ve since separated the Playground matchmaker from the one that affects the default modes and made large improvements to assist with the number of players.”
