First Official Justice League Trailer Shows the Team Coming Together (VIDEO)

first official justice league trailer

While Marvel is currently producing the film that culminates everything their Marvel Cinematic Universe has built with The Avengers: Infinity War, DC is finally nearing the finish line in making their own superhero team-up film. Their Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice film that launched last year introduced the superheroes that the Justice League lineup will consist of, but we did not get to see all of these heroes in the same scenes together. Now that changes as Warner Bros has released the first official Justice League trailer that shows all of the heroes “Come Together” on film at last. Check out the video below:

The official Justice League trailer has newly been posted on the Warner Bros. Pictures YouTube channel. We see a scene which shows Cyborg’s father, Dr. Silas Stone (played by Terminator 2’s Joe Morton), coming home and encountering what appears to be an opening Mother Box (one of the three announced McGuffins for the film) and a Parademon (the aliens comprising the army led by the film’s planned antagonist Steppenwolf). We also get to hear Jason Momoa’s Aquaman speak a full sentence and see Cyborg in life-saving action. Viewers also see bits of the scene where Bruce Wayne first meets Barry Allen, aka The Flash, that was previously shown last year at Comic-Con.

The trailer shows more shots of the individual heroes in combat with various enemies, as a heavy-rock version of “Come Together” by The Beatles plays. The trailer ends with two quick stinger scenes, one which gives us our first look at J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon and the other which shows Aquaman hitching a ride on the Batmobile. What do you guys think about this first Justice League trailer?
