Here’s a First Look at Deadpool 2’s Domino in a Brand New Teaser Image
Of course, it’s Ryan Reynolds casually breaking the news and very first, brand new teaser image for Deadpool 2’s character Domino. As seen in the comical image below, Domino can be seen laying on a rug made of Wade Wilson’s bodysuit, recreating a promotional photo from the previous movie. Zazie Beetz will be playing the role as the “lucky” mercenary who first appeared in the comic book universe.
Her first official appearance began in X-Force issue number 8, and she was a founding member of a paramilitary force by the same name alongside Cable. Undoubtedly, an introductory lesson on Cable and Domino’s background will be shown in this sequel film. Created by Rob Liefield, her mutant gift allows the subconscious manipulation of probabilities in her favor. With that, Domino also harnesses an extraordinary level of skill in hand-to-hand combat and marksmanship.

Zazie Beetz is an actress known for her work in the FX TV series Atlanta and, according to rumors, won the race for this highly sought after role against some very big names such as Lizzy Caplan, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Janelle Monae. With that being said, beating out tough competition like that only means she will be bringing this character to life and doing it justice.
Deadpool 2 premieres in theaters on June 1st, 2018 and will be directed by David Leitch, who was at the helm for John Wick (2014) and Atomic Blonde (2017). Joining the cast of the film will be Josh Brolin as Cable and, of course, Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool. Jack Kesy has been confirmed for a role as villain. Though details have not been revealed yet as to who, there have been rumors circulating that the character may be Black Tom Cassidy.
