First Ant-Man And The Wasp Trailer Released By Marvel (VIDEO)
Marvel‘s size controlling hero Ant-Man is headed back to the big screen in Ant-Man and the Wasp. The new adventure will see actor Paul Rudd don the red costume once more, but also bring backup in the form of Evangeline Lilly’s Wasp. The last time we saw Ant-Man, he was on the run from the law after the events of Captain America: Civil War, setting up the hectic turn of events that would almost surely follow. The first look at the energetic sequel has now been revealed in an all new Ant-Man and the Wasp trailer.
In the new trailer, Scott Lang is seen trying to put his life back together, but must become Ant-Man again when a new terror rises. The ensuing action-packed montage features a few creative uses of Pym particles, with Ant-Man growing to giant size, a miniature Wasp running alongside a knife blade in mid air, and amazingly oversized Hello Kitty Pez. There are even flashes of our heroes shrinking enough to be dwarfed by microorganisms, which is, like, really super-tiny everyone! Check out the trailer below.
While the stylish footage didn’t show off too much of the plot, we do get a brief glimpse at mysterious masked villain Ghost, who reveals herself halfway through the trailer. One notable absence is actress Michelle Pfeiffer who was announced as original Wasp Janet van Dyne back in July. However, this kind of omission is expected in a first trailer and we can expect more to be revealed as the film gets closer to release. Ant-Man and the Wasp hits theaters on July 6th.
