Final Fantasy VII Remake Xbox One Port Seemingly Leaked
Another day brings yet another alleged leak hinting at an Xbox One port for the Final Fantasy VII Remake. The latest one this time around comes to us by way of a retailer’s weekly ad, which may lend just a bit of credibility to what many have come to see has more of an eventuality than a possibility.
As reported by Comicbook, the latest Final Fantasy VII Remake leak points to, yet again, a potential port for the Xbox One. The leak is from one of retailer Target’s weekly ads, with the image in question showing a price listing for the Final Fantasy VII Remake both for the PS4 and for the Xbox One. This could of course be a mistake, though it’s also possible that the nature of the mistake could be jumping the gun on timing rather than messing up on the actual content.
As mentioned, a potential Xbox port for the Final Fantasy VII Remake will likely surface soon, perhaps at the start of the year. This certainly wouldn’t be the only Final Fantasy game that’s gotten a heavy dose of favoritism from Sony, with the recently announced Final Fantasy XVI seemingly having been confirmed as a timed exclusive for the company’s next-gen console.
Since the Final Fantasy VII Remake is expected to be a 1-year timed exclusive, we’ll likely receive an official announcement within the next half year.
