Final Dragon Ball FighterZ Beta Has Been Scheduled For Xbox One

Dragon Ball FighterZ Beta

The hype train for Bandai Namco’s Dragon Ball FighterZ is full steam ahead at the moment with the game’s launch only a few days away. The meantime has provided no shortage of excitement fuel either, with the reveal of Majin Android 21 exploding fans’ collective minds. Squeezing in one last surprise, Bandai Namco have announced a third and final Dragon Ball FighterZ beta, this time it’s being hosted exclusively for players on Xbox One.

Confirming the news on the Bandai Namco US Twitter, Xbox One owners will be able to participate in the improved final Dragon Ball FighterZ beta very soon, which will begin tonight. More specifically, the multiplayer gates will open at 9PM PST and continue for another 24 hours until January 24th at 9PM PST.

In a separate reply tweet, the new beta was also confirmed to remain unchanged in terms of available fighters and maps. This means the slew of new characters that have been revealed in recent weeks will unfortunately be left out of the final beta. The familiar few that will be included are listed below:

  • Adult Gohan
  • Android 18
  • Beerus
  • Cell
  • Frieza
  • Goku (Super Saiyan)
  • Kid Buu
  • Krillin
  • Nappa
  • Piccolo
  • Vegeta (Super Saiyan)

With one last beta in the tank, Dragon Ball FighterZ will only have a few days before the official launch. The recent addition of Majin Android 21 will see her join the ranks of Beerus, Hit, and Goku Black in the roster with many more expected as future DLC. The battle begins when Dragon Ball FighterZ releases for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on January 26th.
