FIFA 18 Gets New Story Mode Trailer Featuring a Few Special Guests (VIDEO)

FIFA 18

The release of EA Sports’ FIFA 18 is just around the corner, which means fans are about to return to the tale of Alex Hunter, the up-and-coming athlete from the previous iteration’s story mode. In The Journey: Hunter Returns, we see the rising star begin to fall, causing him to find a new club to play for. Just as the first round of Alex’s story did, expect to encounter a bounty of drama as you make your way through the league. That much is clear in the official story trailer released by EA.

Along the way, Hunter will bump into a few other high-profile athletes. As can be seen in the video below, James Harden of NBA fame makes an appearance at what appears to be a pool party of sorts. There’s no telling if he will play a larger role, or if this is the extent of his cameo. FIFA 18 cover star Cristiano Ronaldo also shows up, as well as Antoine Griezmann, Gyasi Zardes, Thomas Müller, Dele, Rio Ferdinand, and Thierry Henry. Check out the trailer below to see for yourself:

There’s no telling what kind of success or heartbreak lies ahead for players in The Journey: Hunter Returns, but if it’s anything like the first time around, it is sure to keep gamers coming back for more. FIFA 18 is set to release on September 29 for PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One. Unfortunately, the story mode won’t be available on Nintendo’s console. Stay tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as more is learned about this title!
