Eerie Fan-Made Destiny 2 Trailer Re-Imagines The Game As A Horror Film (VIDEO)
Destiny and Destiny 2 aren’t known for being particularly scary but there are moments where players can genuinely feel some semblance of terror, namely whenever facing enemies in the dark places. A fan-made Destiny 2 trailer has been released taking advantage of places such as the Lost Sectors to re-imagine the game as an Alien-esque space horror film. And surprisingly, it works REALLY well.
The trailer was created by YouTuber Legoleflash combining multiple shots leading up to or within the Utopia mission on Titan, one of the locations exploreable in Destiny 2. Titan’s Hive infested New Pacific Arcology is very much a creepy place to begin with, making it a perfect location for a horror film. Legoleflash describes the Festering Halls on Titan to be a homage to the Alien films, which is hard to argue with after watching the trailer. In fact, most of Titan is filled with scenes that appear as though they came straight out of an Alien film: abandoned machinery, dark creepy corridors, pulsating Hive biology, and more “screams of that atmosphere at almost every angle”.
Destiny 2 is available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and recently just released for PC. Have you encountered any creepy or terrifying moments while playing through either of the Destiny titles?
