Dragon's Dogma Anime Netflix

Dragon’s Dogma has become a favorite action role-playing game for many people ever since it launched back in 2012 for PS3 and Xbox 360, which then came later to newer consoles and PC. That said, it would appear that fans are in for a treat as a new anime adaptation has been announced for Netflix and it isn’t too far away.

Netflix recently took to Twitter to reveal that Capcom‘s classic action RPG is heading to their platform in the form of an anime series. In addition to the announcement, Netflix disclosed that fans will not have to wait too long for the Dragon’s Dogma anime series as it is set to arrive on September 17th.

Shortly after the announcement from Netflix, the official Dragon’s Dogma Twitter account posted a few images from the anime series along with a brief overview of what fans can expect. You can check that tweet out for yourself below:

Not a whole lot is known about the Dragon’s Dogma anime series that is coming to Netflix outside of the release date and a couple details. Even the official description on the Netflix website is short, but it does provide some context. “Ethan sets out to vanquish the Dragon that took his heart, but with every demon he battles, the more he loses his humanity,” reads the description.

Dragon’s Dogma is currently available on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The anime series based on the classic title will hit Netflix worldwide on September 17th.
