Dragon Quest Heroes II PC Version Announced – New Trailer Released (VIDEO)

Dragon Quest Heroes II

Considering the history of Dragon Quest games often not getting a release outside of Japan, North American fans were no doubt content to learn that Dragon Quest Heroes II would indeed be coming to the west. Many players enjoyed the first game, which was a unique action-based spinoff of the main series made by Koei Tecmo to mix their signature Dynasty Warriors gameplay with the RPG mainstay’s universe. At first, only PS4 and Nintendo Switch versions seemed to be in store for the sequel, but we now know that a Dragon Quest Heroes II PC version is also coming. Check out the trailer:

Square Enix has released the above trailer in-tandem with their large blog update that announced the PC version, which will release on April 25th worldwide alongside the North American console editions. European fans will be able to purchase the PC version on Steam on April 25th, and wait three more days until the 28th for the PS4 variant to arrive. Also newly announced is the Explorers Edition of the game, which will include 15 free DLC weapons and a reversible cover that looks like the Adventurer’s Logbook seen in the game.

The Nintendo Switch version will include a copy of the first Dragon Quest Heroes game as well. However, we just recently learned that the file size of this 2-pack of games will be 32GB, which is more than what a Switch will have available after booting up for the first time. Thus an external memory card will be needed to download and play the game.
