Destiny 2: Shadowkeep Preload Now Available On Steam
Bungie has made quite a few bold moves since their departure from Activision, especially as they approach the first DLC to launch since then! Arriving next month, Destiny 2: Shadowkeep will go live for all platforms! Before that happens, however, PC owners have the go-ahead to preload the game on Steam. If you haven’t heard the news yet, Guardians will soon make the transition from Battle.net to Steam.
For Guardians out there with a copy of Shadowkeep in their hands, the PC preload for Valve’s launcher is available now! It’s probably best to make the shift to Steam as soon as possible in order to successfully carry over all personal data and achievements. As soon as October 1st arrives, Destiny 2 will no longer call Battle.net home and Guardians may lose their chance of preserving their accomplishments.
Need some help with that? Here’s what Bungie community manager Cozmo wants Destiny 2 players on PC to know:
You need to do a fresh download from Steam. You cannot just move files over from a previous install.
Your safe to pre-load on Steam now and it wont affect your current install. Just choose a different directory and don’t copy over anything. https://t.co/N9amrZ0aEB

In order to best experience Destiny 2 in all its glory, it’s best to get a move on! Do what you got to do and preload the next direction for Destiny 2 when Shadowkeep launches next month!
