Rumored Destiny 2 Gods Of Mars DLC Details Leaked
The rumored Destiny 2 Gods of Mars expansion revealed back in December has a slew of new information to behold. Presented on the Japanese PlayStation store last, it’s Xbox’s turn to prematurely reveal details of upcoming content. While browsing the Xbox store, Reddit user TheDarkS0ul managed to screenshot the highlighted features for the upcoming DLC.
Though there’s no price mark or expected release date, the description can be read as follows. For a peek at the screenshots, take a look further down:
Destiny 2 Expansion II: Gods of Mars sends your Guardian out to investigate a mysterious signal originating from Mar’s Northern Point, a brand new destination with all new story missions and adventures. Rasputin, the last of the ancient Warminds, has been alerted to a dark threat from beyond the Solar System.
He has betrayed humanity and plans to construct a powerful weapon capable of detonating the Traveler itself. Work alongside Ana Bray who has emerged from the shadows after being missing for years, and destroy Rasputin before his machinations are realized.”
Some of the features for the Destiny 2 Gods of Mars DLC include new themed weapons, armor, and gear, co-op activities, two enemy factions, and Raid Lair. It stands to be said that the Destiny franchise has yet to arrive on Mars, but it seems like the dusty, red planet is an underwhelming and safe choice for the next venture as Guardians.
With that being said, all of this could be fake since official news has yet to break about the next expansion for Destiny 2. Of course, it would be one of the more elaborate scheme from the original poster, who “found” the listing that was deleted right afterward. However, the possibility that it was an internal error on Microsoft’s part is there as well.
