Destiny 2 Is Coming To Steam
Today is a big day for Destiny fans, as a new expansion has been revealed, it was announced that Destiny 2 is coming Google Stadia when it drops later this year, and much more. In addition to this, it was revealed by the devs that the game is officially making its way to Steam.
When Shadowkeep arrives later this year, a lot of things will be changing for Destiny 2 players. Cross-save functionality will be available across all platforms, which means those on PC, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One will be able to save characters and pick them up on another platform. In addition to this, New Light will offer everyone a chance to play the base game and its Year One content for free.
However, what may some of the biggest news to pop up is the fact that Destiny 2 will be making a move to Steam on September 17th, when Shadowkeep drops. Those playing on PC will be able to bring all of their purchases made for Destiny 2 with them at no additional cost. That is about all Bungie had to say on the topic, but they will be revealing more information later this summer.
Destiny 2 is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The title will be making its way to Steam on September 17th, and it will be available on Google Stadia later this year.
